Please answer the following questions in the body of your post:

Identity and background

  • What is the delegate’s identity and background?

DAOplomats is a crypto-native organization offering governance-as-a-service. We specialize in enhancing DAO efficiency through comprehensive treasury management, strategic grants programs, and impactful community-building efforts. We focus on enabling DAOs to reach their full potential by driving collaboration, fostering engagement, and maximizing outcomes for the entire ecosystem.

  • Has the delegate historically contributed to the Jito Network?

We have not directly participated to date, we are eager to contribute more significantly in the upcoming days

  • Has the delegate historically been involved in protocol governance?

As a trusted partner, we have been working with 1inch, Gitcoin, Everclear, and BanklessDAO on governance, tokenomics, grants, and community building. We are also professional delegates of DeFi platforms like Uniswap, Aave, Scroll, Moonwell, Rari, Compound, Velora and Lido DAO, including Layer 2 ecosystems like Arbitrium, Optimism and ZKsync.

We aim to participate actively in the discussions and provide regular updates on how we have voted here on the Forum and our Notion. We are among the few delegates in the EVM ecosystem who maintain a transparent voting history that the public can audit.

  • Is the delegate committed to helping the Jito Network and Solana succeed? Explain.

We are wholly dedicated to the long-term success of both Jito and the broader Solana network. We believe serving as a Jito delegate is the most potent way to influence Solana’s evolution.

Candidate views

  • How should JitoSOL validator delegation balance performance (yield) versus decentralization goals?

The optimal strategy is a hybrid, two-step approach that treats performance as a prerequisite and decentralization as the key differentiator.

  1. Establish a Performance Baseline: First, a validator must meet strict, non-negotiable performance standards to qualify for Jito delegation. This includes high uptime , low commission, a history of zero slashing, and running the Jito-Solana client to maximize MEV rewards. This step protects the core yield for all JitoSOL stakers.

  2. Prioritize Based on Decentralization: From the pool of qualified high-performers, the delegation algorithm should then actively prioritize validators that contribute most to the network’s decentralization. Stake should be preferentially allocated based on factors like Stake Weight ,Geographic & Data Center Diversity

  • What should be the priorities for JTO liquidity mining and DAO token grants?

The sole priority should be to bootstrap deep, sustainable liquidity for core ecosystem pairs. This is a tactical expense, not a long-term strategy. The focus should be on:

  1. Essential Pairs: JitoSOL/SOL, JTO/SOL, and JTO/USDC. These are critical for user access, price stability, and the overall health of the protocol.

  2. Capital Efficiency: Utilize concentrated liquidity pools on major DEXs to achieve the most liquidity for the lowest possible JTO emissions.

  3. Defined End-State: Programs should be temporary, with clear goals to taper off rewards as organic, self-sustaining liquidity is established.

Priorities for DAO Token Grants:

Grants are strategic investments in Jito’s future. The priority should be to maximize the utility and integration of JitoSOL across the Solana ecosystem.

1.Ecosystem Integrations: Fund DeFi protocols (lending markets, perpetuals, yield aggregators) that natively integrate JitoSOL as a premier collateral or yield-bearing asset. The goal is to make JitoSOL as ubiquitous and useful as SOL itself.

2. Public Goods & Infrastructure: Fund research and development into MEV, network security, validator tooling, and governance improvements that strengthen the core Jito protocol and benefit the broader network.

3. Community and Education: Support initiatives that grow the user base through high-quality content, tutorials, and regional community-building efforts.

What are your goals for the DAO as a delegate?

  1. Advance Infrastructural Excellence: We will champion proposals that enhance Jito’s core protocol, focusing on its role as a game-changer for Solana’s scalability, MEV-smoothing, and validator health.

  2. Create Ecosystem Synergy: We will actively work to integrate Jito’s capabilities across the Solana ecosystem, fostering partnerships with other protocols (like LSTs and DEXs) to drive adoption, utility, and new treasury revenue streams.

  3. Drive Robust Governance Inclusion: We will support transparent, effective, and inclusive governance mechanisms that empower all JTO holders, ensuring the DAO is a resilient and well-managed steward of the protocol’s future.
