I do believe the broader community will be pleased to find more utility being associated with JTO, and it can potentially provide extra security.
What are some safeguards that can be put in place to make sure the JTO staking does not detract from JitoSOL staking?
The extra security does bring forth dilution of the rewards. I’m curious to see how it affects other stakeholders (Validators, Stakers, Keepers, NCN Operators) long term. The NCN operators have not run for a substantial amount of time so it would be difficult to see the difference if implemented. The main concern we have with the dilution of rewards is if it disincentivizes operators in the long term thus reducing security which is contradictory to the goal of this proposal. Thoughts?
I would be up for utilizing futarchy to make a decision but I’m also wondering if it is too soon to try and decide on this change if our main focus is long economic security.
